Doggofest — Hong Kong’s Biggest Outdoor Dog Festival
Doggofest (狗狗嘉年華) is Hong Kong’s biggest outdoor dog festival — a weekend where the West Kowloon Art Park fills with playgrounds, an off-leash field, a pet expo and thousands of dogs and their owners. Here’s what to expect and how to plan your visit.
What Doggofest is
Held at the waterfront West Kowloon Art Park, Doggofest is a large outdoor festival built around dogs. To give a sense of scale, the 2025 edition featured a 7,000 sq ft “Petventure Land” playground (ball pit, agility, sensory activities), a big off-leash grass field, workshops led by vets and trainers, live music, photo installations, and a pet expo with around 100 brand booths. The 2026 line-up hasn’t been announced yet.
When and where
The 2026 edition runs 13–15 November at West Kowloon Art Park — an outdoor, waterfront venue that’s pleasant in November, though it’s worth checking the forecast. Dates and venue can change year to year, so confirm on the official site before you go.
Tickets
Doggofest is a ticketed event, but 2026 tickets aren’t on sale yet. Keep an eye on the official site for the release and pricing.
Bringing your dog
Dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome, with trainers and on-site vets supervising the play areas. Keep your dog leashed except in the designated off-leash zone, bring water and waste bags, and watch for over-excitement in the crowds and heat. If your dog is nervous in big groups, aim for a quieter time slot.
Make a day of it
The West Kowloon Art Park is pet-friendly all year round — not only during Doggofest — with a fenced off-leash Pet Zone and a waterfront promenade. Use the map on this site to find dog-friendly restaurants and other parks nearby for before or after the festival.
