What this site does

From 9 July 2026, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) allows dogs to enter food premises that have been approved under its Dog Admission Scheme. This site plots every participating restaurant on an interactive map so you can search by district, check whether a venue has been allocated a quota or is on the waiting list, and get walking directions.

The map currently lists 1,611 restaurants. Each one links to a detail page with its address, district, licence number and current scheme status.

Where the data comes from

Restaurant information is compiled from two public Hong Kong government data sources: the FEHD Dog Admission Scheme ballot result, and the restaurant licence register published on the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) portal. We cross-reference the two so that each listing shows both its allocation status and an accurate map location.

Because the data is drawn from official registers, names and addresses appear as recorded by FEHD. A small number of entries may be out of date if a restaurant has closed or changed details since the registers were last published.

How it stays accurate

We periodically re-import the source data so that allocation statuses stay current. Readers can also report corrections — a wrong location, a closed venue, or a misspelt name — and verified fixes are applied as a manual correction layer that survives future data refreshes.
